NoMercyMC is a premium Minecraft server offering a variety of unique and engaging gameplay modes. We focus on creating a friendly, safe, and fun environment for players of all ages and skill levels.

Our server features custom plugins, regular events, and an active community. We've been operating since 2022 and continuously update and expand our features.

We currently offer the following game modes:

1. Survival - Our main survival world with land claiming, economy, and custom features
2. SkyBlock - Start on a floating island and expand your territory
3. Creative - A creative world where you can build without limitations
4. Factions - Form factions with other players, claim territory, and battle rival factions
5. Minigames - Various minigames including Spleef, Parkour, and more

We regularly add new game modes and features based on community feedback!

Our server supports Minecraft versions 1.18 through 1.20.4. We recommend using the latest version (1.20.4) for the best experience and access to all features.

We update our server to support new Minecraft versions shortly after they're released and deemed stable.

To join our server, follow these steps:

1. Launch Minecraft (version 1.18 - 1.20.4)
2. Go to Multiplayer
3. Click "Add Server"
4. Enter "NoMercyMC" as the server name
5. Enter "play.nomercymc.org" as the server address
6. Click "Done" and then select our server to join

That's it! You should now be connected to our server.

No, you don't need to register on our website to play on the server. You can join directly with your Minecraft account.

However, registering on our website provides additional benefits:

• Access to the forums and community discussions
• Ability to participate in votes to earn rewards
• Access to the web store for purchasing ranks and items
• Integration with your in-game account for seamless rewards delivery

We recommend registering to get the full NoMercyMC experience!

Yes, our server is completely free to play! All game modes and basic features are accessible to everyone at no cost.

We do offer optional premium ranks and cosmetic items in our store that provide additional perks and support the server's operational costs, but these are entirely optional and don't restrict core gameplay.

Our economy system is based on server currency called "Coins". You can earn Coins in various ways:

• Selling items to server shops
• Trading with other players
• Completing server quests and challenges
• Participating in events
• Voting for the server daily

You can use Coins to buy items from server shops, trade with players, claim land, and more. Each game mode has its own economy, so Coins earned in Survival can't be used in Factions, for example.

Use the command /balance to check your current balance.

We use the GriefPrevention plugin for land claiming in Survival mode. Here's how to claim land:

1. Get a Golden Shovel (you'll receive one when you first join)
2. Find an area you want to claim
3. Right-click with the shovel at one corner of your desired claim
4. Move to the opposite corner and right-click again
5. The area between the two clicks will be marked as your claim

New players start with 500 claim blocks. You earn more claim blocks the longer you play on the server (1 block per minute of playtime).

Commands:

• /abandonclaim - Remove your claim while standing in it
• /trust [player] - Allow another player to build in your claim
• /untrust [player] - Remove a player's access to your claim
• /claimlist - See a list of all your claims

Yes! We have a wide variety of custom enchantments and items that add exciting new dimensions to gameplay:

Custom Enchantments:

• Telekinesis - Items and XP go directly to your inventory when mining
• Explosive - Creates explosions when mining, breaking multiple blocks at once
• Auto Smelt - Automatically smelts ores as you mine them
• Headless - Chance to drop player heads when killing players
• Lifesteal - Heals you for a portion of damage dealt
• And many more!

Custom Items:

• Grappling Hook - Quickly travel across terrain
• Jetpack - Fly temporarily without Creative mode
• Lucky Blocks - Break for random rewards or penalties
• Teleport Scrolls - Set waypoints and teleport to them

You can find these items in our vote crates, event rewards, and our store.

We offer several ranks on our server, each with increasing perks and benefits:

• Player - Default rank for all players (free)
• VIP - Entry premium rank with basic perks ($9.99)
• MVP - Mid-tier rank with enhanced benefits ($19.99)
• Elite - Advanced rank with extensive perks ($29.99)
• Legend - Top-tier rank with all available perks ($49.99)

There are also special ranks that can't be purchased:

• Helper - Volunteer staff members who assist players
• Moderator - Staff members who enforce server rules
• Admin - Server administrators with full permissions
• Owner - Server owners

Staff positions are earned through a formal application and selection process. We periodically open applications for Helper and Moderator positions when we need additional staff.

To be considered for a staff position:

1. You must have played on our server for at least one month
2. You must have a clean record with no major rule violations
3. You must be at least 16 years old
4. You must be active and knowledgeable about the server

When applications are open, an announcement will be posted in the forums and Discord. The application process typically includes a written application, an interview, and a trial period.

Please note that we do not accept unsolicited applications, and staff positions cannot be purchased.

All premium ranks purchased from our store are permanent and do not expire. Once you purchase a rank, you'll keep it indefinitely unless you're demoted for rule violations.

When you upgrade to a higher rank, your previous rank benefits are included with the new rank. For example, if you upgrade from VIP to MVP, you'll have all VIP perks plus the additional MVP perks.

If you change your Minecraft username, your rank will automatically transfer to your new name within 24 hours. If you experience any issues with this, please contact a staff member for assistance.

If you're having trouble connecting to our server, try these troubleshooting steps:

1. Verify you're using a supported Minecraft version (1.18 - 1.20.4)
2. Double-check the server address: play.nomercymc.org
3. Ensure you have a stable internet connection
4. Try restarting your Minecraft client and/or your computer
5. Check if you're using any mods that might conflict with our server
6. Temporarily disable your firewall and antivirus to see if they're blocking the connection
7. Try connecting with a different internet connection (e.g., mobile hotspot)

If you've tried all these steps and still can't connect, please check our Discord server for any ongoing issues or maintenance updates, or contact our support team.

We allow many client-side mods and texture packs, but with some restrictions:

Allowed:

• Performance enhancement mods (e.g., Optifine, Sodium)
• Visual enhancement mods (e.g., shaders, Better Foliage)
• Minimaps without entity radar
• Inventory management mods
• Cosmetic mods
• Any texture packs/resource packs

Not Allowed:

• Any mod that gives unfair advantages in PvP
• X-ray mods or texture packs
• Fly hacks, speed hacks, or other movement cheats
• Auto-clickers or macros
• Minimap mods with entity radar or cave mapping
• Duplication glitch mods

When in doubt, please ask a staff member before using a specific mod. Using prohibited mods can result in warnings, mutes, or bans.

To improve your gameplay experience, consider these tips:

1. Install performance mods: Use Optifine or Sodium for better FPS.
2. Adjust video settings:
   • Reduce render distance (8-12 chunks is ideal)
   • Set graphics to Fast instead of Fancy
   • Disable smooth lighting and clouds
   • Lower particle effects
3. Allocate more RAM: 2-4GB is typically sufficient for smooth play.
4. Close background applications: Free up resources while playing.
5. Use a wired connection: For more stable internet.
6. Keep your system cool: To prevent thermal throttling.

If you experience lag specific to our server, please report it to our staff.

We accept a variety of payment methods, including:

Our refund policy is as follows:

• Refunds are available within 7 days if the purchase has not been used.
• No refunds for rank upgrades or consumable items once delivered.
• Technical issues preventing item use may be eligible for a refund.
• Chargeback attempts without contacting support may result in bans.

If you are banned or muted, you may appeal:

1. Join our Discord server
2. Go to the #ban-appeals channel
3. Follow the pinned instructions and provide your username, time of incident, and appeal reason
4. Please be patient—decisions can take up to 48 hours

To report rule violations:

1. Use /report [player] [reason] in-game if no staff are present
2. Or message staff directly via /msg [staff_name] [your_message]
3. You can also report on our Discord (#player-reports) or via our support ticket system
